On arrival you visit the harbour, with its fishing port and old Portuguese fortifications and medieval cannons overlooking the Atlantic. You continue to the Medina with its 18th-century fortifications and the landmark La Scala, then to Bab Laalouj and the Mellah. Art shops, galleries, and thuya-wood craft shops line the way.
