Your tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation. Leaving Marrakech, you journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with your guide and driver stopping at the most picturesque spots.
After a delightful lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, you continue toward the Dades Gorges through Skoura and the Rose Valley. In Skoura’s lush oasis you can visit the remarkable Amridil Kasbah. If you travel in spring, we can make a special stop to see the valley in full bloom with roses. Arriving at the Dades Gorges, you’ll be amazed by the “monkey fingers” rock formations and a panoramic view of the gorge.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, then take a scenic drive along the Dades and Todra Rivers, surrounded by palm groves and Berber villages, to the Todra Gorge in Tinghir, one of the most amazing canyons in the world. Afterward you head to the Merzouga desert.
Before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes, your driver/guide will suggest visiting a traditional Berber shop, where you can take free pictures in a Berber outfit (no obligation to buy). Once in Merzouga, you set off on a camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset over the dunes and try sandboarding, then spend the night in a luxury desert camp with a tasty dinner and the magic of the Sahara at night.

Wake early and you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise from the nearest dune. After a delightful breakfast at the camp, you return to the town of Merzouga by camel trek or by 4×4.
A short distance from town lies the village of Khamlia, renowned for its enchanting Gnawa music, where you’ll pause to take in the sounds. Next is Rissani, an ancient city and an important stop on old caravan routes; if it’s a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, you’ll have the chance to visit its traditional souk. From Rissani you continue through the picturesque Draa Valley in Agdez, and on to Ouarzazate, arriving in the afternoon.

After breakfast you explore Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, home to the largest studio in Africa, the renowned Atlas Studios, as well as the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
You then continue to Ait Ben Haddou to explore its ancient Kasbah, under UNESCO protection since 1987 and a backdrop for many iconic films including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. From there the journey leads on to Marrakech through the majestic Atlas Mountains, with a stop to admire the Kasbah of Telouet. We drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
