You then travel to Rabat, the capital, to visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas before heading to your accommodation to relax.

Driving: approximately 128 km, ~2 hr 10 min · Overnight: Hotel/riad in Rabat

After breakfast, you begin the journey to Chefchaouen, a beautiful town in the Rif Mountains. The drive takes around four hours, passing stunning landscapes of rolling hills and picturesque villages.

On arrival you check in and have leisure time to explore the city and its famous blue-painted streets, wandering the narrow lanes of the Medina, visiting the souks, or relaxing at one of the many cafés.

Driving: approximately 254 km, ~4 hr · Overnight: Riad in Chefchaouen

After breakfast, your day begins with a scenic drive through picturesque Rif villages before arriving at Volubilis, once a Roman city. You explore the ruins and admire the well-preserved mosaics and grand public buildings dating back to the 3rd century.

You then head to Meknes, a 17th-century former capital. After lunch, you visit the walled Medina, home to the famous Bab el Mansour gate, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, before heading to Fes for the night.

Driving: approximately 260 km, ~4 hr 30 min · Overnight: Riad in Fes

Today you set out on a full-day tour with a local guide to explore Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. You start at the Royal Palace gate, then immerse yourself in the maze-like alleyways of the medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Chouara tanneries, then the Jewish quarter, the Mellah, and finally an ancient fortress for a panoramic view before returning to your riad.

Overnight: Riad in Fes

After breakfast you head south toward Merzouga, stopping in Ifrane and then a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas to watch Barbary apes. After lunch en route, you continue to the Ziz Valley, known for its oasis full of palm trees.

In the afternoon you reach the desert and begin your camel caravan across the Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping for a golden sunset from a high dune, then continue to your luxury camp for dinner and a bonfire under the starry sky with drumming and Berber music.

Driving: approximately 500 km, ~7 hr 30 min · Overnight: Luxury desert camp, Merzouga

Rise early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you leave the camp by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga, then head toward the Dades Gorge.
