Your tour begins with a hassle-free pick-up from your accommodation. Leaving Marrakech, you cross the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping at picturesque locations.
After a delicious lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, you continue toward the Dades Gorge through Skoura and the Rose Valley. In Skoura’s lush oasis you can explore the impressive Amridil Kasbah. On reaching the Dades Gorge, you’ll be captivated by the “monkey fingers” rock formations and a panoramic view. Finally you head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

You pause for lunch en route, and on arrival your camel guide and camels are ready to lead you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp. You then visit a hidden abandoned village home to the Galena mines. Next you drive to Khamlia village to hear Gnaoua music played by the locals, and you can have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, you drive to a lake near Merzouga if it’s full before heading to your riad.

You arrive at your riad in Ouarzazate in the afternoon.

Your final morning starts with a tasty breakfast in your riad. Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and the Hollywood of Africa, is home to the historical Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios.
You then continue to Ait Ben Haddou to explore its ancient Kasbah, protected by UNESCO since 1987 and a backdrop for iconic films including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. From there the journey leads to Marrakech through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, with time to admire the Telouet Kasbah. As the tour ends, we drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
