Your 2-day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or riad. Leaving Marrakech, you travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, pausing to take in the scenery. After a scenic lunch stop, you continue to Merzouga, your final destination.
In the afternoon, camels are ready to carry you into the Erg Chebbi dunes. You pause atop a high dune to watch a mesmerising sunset, then continue the camel ride to the desert camp and your private tent. After freshening up, you enjoy dinner and gather around a campfire for drumming and Berber songs.

We recommend waking early to watch a magnificent sunrise. After breakfast you leave the camp in a 4×4 for the town of Merzouga, then travel back to Marrakech with several stops along the way, including a lunch break.
One notable stop is the panoramic viewpoint of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This well-preserved village is a sought-after filming location, appearing in numerous films and series such as Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones. You reach Marrakech in the late afternoon and are dropped off at your riad.

It depends on your group size. Options include the Toyota Prado Land Cruiser TX, a Ford 8-seater van, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus (for groups of roughly eight to seventeen passengers), among other comfortable vehicles.
We recommend booking at least 1–3 weeks in advance, especially in high season, to secure your preferred dates and accommodations.
To confirm your reservation we ask for a small deposit, payable by PayPal, bank transfer, or Wise. The balance is due in cash on the first day of the tour, directly to your driver/guide, in euros, US dollars, or the equivalent in dirhams.
